BBC sources reveal that Brentford’s head coach, Thomas Frank, is open to the prospect of the former FC Midtjylland player seeking opportunities that guarantee more minutes on the pitch.
This stance has attracted interest from several clubs, notably Girona FC, who have recently clinched a spot in the UEFA Champions League for the first time under the City Football Group’s stewardship.
Spanish publication Gironi reports that Girona has formally approached Brentford regarding Onyeka’s availability.
