Super Eagles’ midfielder, Frank Onyeka has disclosed that he cherishes the new experience he is gaining from playing in the German Bundesliga with SC Augsburg, Sports247 reports.
Although his team keep struggling to maintain a consistent chain of good results, and he has yet to score a single goal since arriving on loan from Brentford of England, Onyeka is taking delight in being able to play under a totally different atmosphere than what he was used to in the English Premier League.
The battling midfielder, who notched his 26th game of the season last weekend, was beaming with great expectations as he said: “It’s good for me so far. It’s nice to come into the Bundesliga and experience the kind of football they play.”
He then mentioned differences between the type of games he played in England and what he is now facing in Germany, which he admitted has a less stable pattern than what applies in the EPL.
“The tempo of the game is always back-and-forth. It is unlike in the Premier League, where they sometimes try to calm down the game. Here it’s back-and-forth.
“Both leagues have their own quality, and it’s always good to play in a league like this. We’ll just wait and see how things go,” Onyeka rounded-off expectantly.
