Frank Kappe is elated after picking up the Man-of-the-Match award in Katsina United’s group game at the 2019 Ahlan Cup.
The full back excelled in the Changi Boys’ narrow 1-0 win over Lobi Stars on Tuesday at the Kano Pillars Stadium.
His impressive display was duly acknowledged by organizers, winning him the most valuable player in the process.
But the appreciative full back insists the award will only spare him on to achieve greatness as a player.
“I am very happy for myself and I thank God that I was able to prove to people that I can do it,” he said in a chat with Ahlan Cup Media.
“The sky is our limit and I will keep doing my homework to make sure I do more.
Katsina United have picked four points from two games at the ongoing Ahlan Cup in Kano. They are up against Nasarawa United in their final group match on Thursday.
