Badagry Divisional Football Association BDFA has concluded arrangement to organise BDFA Super Eight tournament RAK Cup which commences on 6 through 12 December at Nigeria French Village football pitch, Badagry
The Chairman of BDFA, Prince Mobee Kayode told our correspondent in Lagos that the league has divided into four saying that ten teams are in each zone and only two teams from each zone would qualify for the Super Eight tournament RAK Cup in few days to come.
The four zones are Ajeromi/ Ifelodun zone, Amuwo- Odofin zone, Ojo/Otto Awori zone, and Badagry zone. Ten teams are drawn in each zone make it forty teams fighting four super eight tournaments to decide true champions of Badagry League.
Kayode said he is impressed with the matches played so far in various zones. He said most of the matches he watched in various zones, the teams are played to rules and regulations while players follow the laid down rules guiding the game.
“ I can say our league has improved tremendously and a lot of teams are taking part in the league. I must say that the super eight would be a tough one because all the eight teams are equal to emerge as champions.
“The players have distinguished themselves in their football artistry while officiating is quite impressive. I think BDFA has done well in organizing a hitch-free league that coaches and other stakeholders in the division are proud of. We will not relax rather continue to keep improving in each match,” he said.
