Adeshina’s journey with Dragon FC is not entirely new, as he previously graced the club as a player back in 2004. Now, he returns to lead the team from the touchline, tasked with guiding them to success in the Benin Ligue 1 Championship Group.

However, Adeshina’s debut as Dragon FC’s head coach didn’t go as planned, as the team suffered a 3-0 defeat to Dadje in their first outing under his leadership. The loss saw Dragon FC slip to second place in the standings, with 24 points from 13 games, while Dadje claimed the top spot.

In addition to Adeshina’s appointment, Dragon FC has also enlisted the expertise of Oladunni Oyekale, former Nigeria under-20 Assistant Coach, as their Technical Adviser. With a new coaching setup in place, Dragon FC aims to bounce back from their recent setback and mount a strong challenge for honors in the Benin Ligue 1.

As Ademola Adeshina takes charge of the team’s fortunes, Dragon FC supporters eagerly await the dawn of a new era under his leadership, hopeful for a resurgence in their quest for glory on the football field.
