Former Team360 FC player, Kazeem Bolaji Soliu has made his debut for Spartak Trvana in the European conference League Thursday night against Newton Fc.
It was a memorable day for the 19yrs old and a dream come true when he came in for Martin Mikovic in the 68mins. Spartak Trnava defeated Newton FC 4-1 and a hattrick was scored by fellow compatriot Bamidele Yusuf and Alex Ivan.
Bolaji was out for two months due to an injury sustained last season in the quarter-final of the Slovan cup where the club eventually won the trophy.
Speaking after his debut in European Conference League, Kazeem said he was happy to be back and stronger. He disclosed that it has not been easy for him to stay out for long but thanked God for returning to action again.
“I am happy for coming back to the pitch and making my debut in the European championship. Although it has not been easy for me to stay out for long but thank God that I am back and feeling stronger. I am using this medium to thank my coaches, teammates, and my manager, Hamza Akeem, for the moral support given me when I was in Nigeria,” he said.
In his own comment, Kazeem’s Manager, Akeem Hamzat thanked God for the progress of the player and noted that Kazeem was a committed and dedicated player while he was with Team360. : We are glad he is back and most importantly it’s a joy to behold seeing one of our products who Had been with us since age 12 and now playing in the European conference league, it’s a great achievement for us as a team and most importantly the player who has been working so hard to be where he is now ” he added.
