“In the Olympic proper, they need to come together early to be in camp so that they work together, and the coaches will now work on them and address their lapses,” Abdullahi stated.

“One of the lapses I see is the goal scoring. They have a problem in goal-scoring; they need to convert their chances.”

Abdullahi stressed the significance of comprehensive training sessions and quality-friendly matches to fine-tune the team’s performance.

He expressed confidence that with proper preparation, the Super Falcons can contend for a medal at the Olympics.

“If the Ministry can ensure to bring these girls together early and have them at camp, training as a team, and playing quality friendly matches, it’s possible to get a medal at the Olympics,” Abdullahi remarked.

“Based on the performances of the team at the last World Cup.”

Abdullahi’s suggestions emphasize the importance of early and concentrated preparation in unlocking the Super Falcons’ potential and improving their prospects for success on the global stage.
