Former Super Eagles player, Mutiu Adepoju has congratulated the management and staff of the MADESTONE Football Academy for successfully completing its two weeks summer camp in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Adepoju who was invited to share the experience with the participating kids on the last day of the summer camp commended the Chief executive officer of MADESTONE Academy, Oluwatobiloba Olubiyi, and the coaching staff for the job well done saying that the summer camp had really exposed the young players to the modern day football.
“I must confess that the two weeks summer camp organized by MADESTONE Academy in Ibadan was a laudable project that discovered, developed, and nurtured players at their early stage of a football career. what I saw here today (Friday) showed that the participants had learned a lot of things on the round leather game which would help their footballing career,” he said.
Adepoju popularly known as headmaster tasked the participants to focus on their education and shun any vices that can tarnish their careers.
The former Real Sociedad player also charged the kids to be disciplined and respect their parents and elderly people in their various communities.
In his own comment, Olubiyi thanked the ex-international for his advice and word of encouragement saying that the academy would not rest on its oars and would continue to provide a platform where young players can display their God-given talents.
Olubiyi who is a UEFA C licensed coach explained further that the summer camp was a huge success and commended the kids between the age of 4 to 16 for their commitment and dedication throughout the two weeks program.
