The Nigeria ex-international, Austin Eguavoen after watching the kids display their skills was impressed with the level of football played in the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League La Liga U-15 Promise tournament in Ikenne.
The former Super Eagles handler in an interview after the semi-finals matches of the competition on Tuesday said the level of play is quite commendable and the future of the kids is bright.
“I will say I’m very impressed likewise every other person here seated up there with football enthusiasts especially the proprietor of Remo Stars, Honourable Soname with Paul Aigbogun we were analyzing the game, he said in an interview with the youth league media
“From what I have seen so far I think the future is very bright for the kids. But the most important thing is what I saw is they look very very young which means they are truly under 15. So, there is a bright future for them.” He said.
He went ahead and advise the lads to be disciplined and focused to achieve the best in their football careers.
The 2023 NPFL LaLiga U-15 Promise tournament will come to a climax on Friday with reigning champions Remo Stars Beyond Limits Football Academy seeking to retain the title against Mees Palace Football Academy representatives of Plateau United at the Remo Stars Stadium.
