Former Republic Of Ireland’s Youth International, Blessing Kingsley Ready To Play For Super Falcons

Blessing Kingsley, former Republic of Ireland youth international have switched her allegiance as she is ready to play for Super Falcons, Sports247 reports.

The 22 year old born in Ireland to Nigerian parents is eligible to play for his country of birth, Ireland or country of his parents, Nigeria and she made up her mind to commit her international future to Nigeria.

The center forward told ASN about her love for the Nigeria culture and heritage as one of the reasons she is switching her international allegiance and committing her international future to Nigeria.

“It’s a country I’m open to representing!! I have not gotten the chance to visit since I was born and raised in Ireland but I love my culture,” Kingsley told All Nigeria Soccer.

The Super Falcons are in the process of rebuilding under interim manager Justin Magudu after the expiration of former manager Randy Waldrum four years contract after the Paris 2024 Olympics.

The next assignment for the Super Falcons is the 2025 Africa Women Cup of Nations slated for Morocco where the team will be a favourite to reclaim the Africa crown they relinquish three years ago after years of dominance on the continent.

Blessing Kingsley currently plays in the United States for the Vermont Fusion Women team
