Former chairperson of the Women’s Nigerian Professional Football League, Dilichukwu Onyedinma has called on soccer loving Nigerians to commend the players of the Super Falcons of Nigeria, irrespective of how they end up at the forthcoming FIFA women’s world cup in France.
The African champions arrived Austria earlier in the week where they will set up a two –week residential camping before flying to France for the 8th FIFA Women’s World Cup taking place 7th June – 7th July 2019.
In a chat with Sports247, Dilichukwu voiced her confidence in the ability of the Falcons to do well at the tournament, as the players are dedicated, well prepared and know the task ahead of them.
“Our girls are patriotic, they have the experience, they are well prepared, they are strong and they would want to deliver”
They would surely want to deliver, but the key thing there is that when they finish the work, we should appreciate them.
