Egyptian club Smouha SC have completed the signing of Nigerian forward Sikiru Olatubosun on a three year deal which sees the striker move from Turkey to Egypt.
Sikiru had a short but compelling time in Turkey where the striker had 8 goal contribution, scoring and assisting 4 goals each with Menemenspor and also putting up a similar 8 goal contribution, scoring once and assisting 7 times in the league for Ankaraspor.
The performances gained attention of Egyptian top tier side Smouha SC who are looking to strengthen their side after finishing in fourth place in the Egyptian Premier League last season and the signing of Sikiru they feel, is what they need.
Sikiru was a top performer in the Nigerian Professional Football League the season before he departed the league, scoring what was one of the best goals of the season, making it into the CNN goal of the week with his long range strike against Rangers Int’l in a home league game at Agege Stadium in 2017.
