Former Nigerian football midfielder, Rita Nwadike, expressed her heartfelt congratulations to Chiamaka Nnadozie and Azeezat Oshoala for their remarkable achievements at the 2023 CAF Awards.
“First of all, I’ll say a big congratulations to Chiamaka and Azeezat Oshoala for making Nigeria proud. It was not easy; so many people started the race, but in the end, they won. I say big congratulations to them,” Nwadike enthusiastically stated.

Nwadike, known for her astute observations, acknowledged the exceptional performances of both players.

“I am not in doubt of Chiamaka Nnadozie because she did well in the last World Cup, even in her club she is doing likewise,” Nwadike remarked.
She continued to express her appreciation for Azeezat Oshoala’s achievements, admitting a change of opinion after evaluating their respective performances.

“Before, I was in doubt of Azeezat, but when I calculated and checked, I changed my mind that she is doing well compared to the others.
When I rated two of them, I changed my mind again that Azeezat was going to carry the day,” Nwadike explained.
