Former striker of a Lagos based amateur club, Messiah Football Club, John Okoye has penned three years contract with ENPPI SC of Egypt.
The team manager of Messiah, Deji Beecroft confirmed to our correspondent early this morning that Okoye has finally signed a three years contract with Egyptian club some days ago to continue his professional career.
“Let me officially announce to our readers and supporters of Messiah FC Of Lagos that John Okoye who was our dependable striker before has signed a three years deal with ENPPI SC of Egypt.
“It is good news for us because Okoye would be playing in Egyptian premier league. And don’t forget he has featured in two matches for the club recently. I am happy for the young lad for his new contract and I wish the player a successful outing as he continues playing in Egyptian premier league,” he said.
Beecroft revealed that two players from the club have signed for professional clubs in the outgoing year. Two players are John Okoli who signed for Saif Sporting Club of Bangladesh and Anthony Sodiq who is currently playing for FC Alania of Russia.
Beecroft boasted that Messiah FC has good players that are marketable and productive who are ready to play for any club in the world.
Meanwhile Okoye played for professional club in Cyprus before he signed a new contract with ENPPI SC of Egypt.
