Ramat HaSharon FC recently completed the signing of young striker Ibeh Jide from Emmydinho FC in Lagos, Nigeria, and the striker put up a man-of-the-match performance in a youth league game as he is being introduced to the main team.
After strong performances in The Creative Championship League and the Nationwide League One lower division, the striker made his move to Ramat HaSharon, a division two side in the Israeli League, and has quickly started covering grounds.
Ibeh scored one and assisted two in a 6-1 for Hapoel Nir Ramat HaSharon U19 side in a thrashing of Hapoel Hod HaSharon U19 and the striker expressed his joy whilst still thanking Emmydinho for the opportunity to be where he is today.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity. I congratulate myself, my movement to Israel to sign this contract and I really thank my boss Mr. Emeka known as Emmydinho because without him I will not be here,” Jide told Sports247.
The striker further stated his ambition in the league which is to become the number one striker in the league.
“I’m happy to score and I thank my family, my mum who has been there for me and has been supporting just like my former teammates in Emmydinho as well. I want to be the greatest player in my team and in this division of the league and prove to my boss that he did not make a mistake sending me here, I want to be the number one striker in this league,” he concluded.
