Former Eagles defender hails NFF for Super Eagles recent exploits

Efe Ambrose has revealed that the Super Eagles of Nigeria are doing well at the moment due to the support from all and sundry, reports Sports247.

Nigeria has enjoyed a good run of matches after the FIFA world cup last year and will be looking to go all the way at the AFCON in Egypt in the months of June/July.

Ambrose who was part of the side that won the trophy in 2013, added that it’s not just about having quality players but being United as a country which will help the Eagles soar in the AFCON.

“The NFF, the fans, the media, everyone is behind the team now which is why they have a strong backbone because if I say quality, everyone knows Nigeria has been getting that quality of players but it’s just something that was missing”

“The team has favour now and everything is working for them. Once our heads are together, all Nigerians with one voice, it’s difficult to beat us, except we are divided”.

Ambrose also believes that the team can go all the way to winning yet another trophy, after missing out on the last two editions.
