Noah Salaudeen, former Buruj’s Football Academy captain and now a player of Sporting Vianna in Portugal was in the starting lineup as his side recorded a vital 0-1 away victory in the FA Cup.
The forward had a hand in the goal which was eventually counted as an own goal and that was the only goal that separated both sides as Sporting Vianna ran away with the maximum points.
Noah couldn’t hide his excitement playing his first game as a professional player abroad, he was delighted with the coach singing his praises for his performance in the encounter, Sports247.ng reports.
The captured quotes of Noah after the game was when he was asked what coming to Portugal reminds him off, he said, ‘Ronaldo’.
“Investment was the major reason why I pick Ronaldo as my mentor. As a player, a lot of players need to know that before you start making the pile of money, you must have a mentor who will tell you how best to invest the money.”
“Ronaldo is someone I look up to and finding myself here in Portugal, I know that one day, I will have the opportunity of meeting him one on one,” he stated.
“My father seldom talks about investment as a player and although I’m yet to start making the money but my mentor and what I see my father doing, I have picked that aspect of my life.”
“As I keep on training hard to make the mark I have come here to achieve. It’s good to live a luxury life and enjoy your money, I see that a lot with Ronaldo but I discover that it’s not the main reason but investment should be the caution,” Noah explained.
