Football stakeholders across Nigeria and in diaspora have sent goodwill messages to NFF chieftain and chairman Technical and development committee of the Nigeria Football Federation Alh. Ahmed Yusuf Fresh, the Sardauna kwalon Nigeria as he celebrates his birthday.
Alh. Ahmed Fresh, a household name in Nigeria Football has served as the chairman of the Niger state Football Association for a record 20 years still counting and he is also a ranking Executive committee member of the NFF for a record 3 terms , a feat achieved only by him and two other NFF board members Felix Anyansi Agwu and Hon.Suleiman kwande.
A hardworking, easy going and amiable gentle man, the CAF committee member of 12 years has over the years demostrated high level of loyalty, passion and commitment to the growth and development of Football in Nigeria having headed and excelled in sensitive committees like Referees committee, Youth devt.committee, Technical committee and vice chairman of the highly elated Strategic studies committee.
Ahmed Fresh, a grassroot Football developer who has travelled to several countries of the world is a friend of the sporting media, loved by both the Referees, youth players, coaches and he is a closest ally of the Club Owners Association of Nigeria.
Despite his doggedness, loyalty and popularity, Fresh is known to be a modest man, not too ambitious but a team player and passionate lover of Football.
History will continue to bear witness that Alh. Ahmed Yusuf Fresh is the leader of the north central Football stakeholders who took development of grassroot Football even beyond his zone to other parts of Nigeria.
