Speaking with Sport247 media in a video chat ” Football is big business, as seen by European countries and another part of Africa that’s why they could resume their leagues as early enough because it also generates income to the government and add value to the economic growth of there countries”
Speaking further ” Its important that the federal government through the ministry of youth and sport provides policies that will enable us to see football as a business even at the grassroots level.”
“This will encourage more private investors and companies to invest thereby generating revenue for the government as obtainable in other parts of the world, when this happens our government can take us more serious because shutting football again is affecting us as private club owners because our revenue source is through players transfer and when there is no football activity how will our players be transferred or do well in the clubs they are going to”
