Super Falcons and Barcelona striker, Asisat Oshoala Football for girls campaign 2019 which Kicked off at Campus Square Mini Stadium, Lagos Island was in no doubt a memorable one with plenty of dignitaries present with the presence of the NFF president, Mr Amaju Pinnick, Singer Alh. Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, Alh. Sule Alao Malaika, John Ogbu, Former Eagles international, Odion Jude Ighalo, Kenneth Omeruo, Chidozie Awaziem, Rasheedat Ajibade formerly of Robot FC, Dele Alampasu, Lille’ red hot striker, Victor Osimhen, Akpororo, Ijebu, Niyi Johnson, Ruggedman, Afeez Owo also graced the occasion.

“I have an opportunity through football. It is something I acknowledge and I’m grateful for, but beyond football, there’s more to life and so much to give back”, Oshoala revealed.

“Life is all about opportunities. I won’t say I was the best player among my friends in those days, but here I am today with Feats to my name, it keeps my life more responsible as a source of hope to a female child especially the ones with the passion for football”.

Asisat Oshoala’s pole position in women’s football on the continent is not in doubt, She’s seen it all as far as winning laurels at individual and team level is concerned.

At individual level, she’s a three-time African Women’s Player of The Year-2014, BBC’s African Female Footballer (2015), Queen of the Pitch (2014), Africa’s Women Youth Player (2014), African Women’s Championship Golden Ball (2014), FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Golden Boot(2014), FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Golden Ball (2014) and Chinese Women’s Super League top scorer (2017).
