Friends, associates, and stakeholders in the Nigerian sports community are rolling out the drums, singing and dancing in praises to God in celebration of His kindness in the life of the newly re-elected President of Nigeria Basketball Federation, Engr. Ahmadu Musa Kida, as he adds another year to his life.
Recently retired as Deputy Managing Director of TotalEnergies Plc, Kida, who marks his 61st birthday today, has continued to receive prayers, praises, and well wishes, from people across the world in all walks of life.
Nigeria’s Pillar Of Sports, High Chief Donatus Agu-Ejidike, JP, while praising Musa Kida for his selfless contributions to the development of Nigeria through sports, described him as a detribalized Nigerian, who has continued to build bridges of peace and unity across the country.
Friends of Nigeria Sports( FSN), a group of journalists and sports stakeholders in its congratulatory message to Kida, expresses its gratitude to God for graciously granting the newly re-elected NBBF President another year.
” We are happy and grateful to God for His blessings and protection on the life of this great Nigerian. We pray that God continues to bless and protect him for the benefits of Nigerian sports and humanity,” it prayed.
FNS also congratulated Kida on his victory and reelection as NBBF President at the successful elective congress held Monday, in Benin, Edo State.
High Chief Michael Orobasa Ubogu, who was equally effusive in praises for Musa Kida, noted that Nigeria is blessed to have a distinguished sports administrator like Musa Kida. Adding that Kida’s sterling quality and selflessness have been a major factor in the meteoric rise of basketball in Nigeria.
Ubogu, a grassroots sports philanthropist and Managing Director of Micura Services limited went ahead to pray that God grant Kida, good health and long life, to the benefits of sports in Nigeria.
