The Flying Eagles of Nigeria who finished in second position in the just concluded WAFU Cup tournament will resume camping first week of January in Abuja in preparation for the 2019 AFCON, that is going to take place February in Niger Republic precisely.
It could be recalled, that Flying Eagles of Nigeria failed to qualify for the last edition under the tutelage of Emmanuel Amunike.

Going into the AFCON proper when it commences, Flying Eagles
get into the semi finals ,they will be able to pick a slot for the World Cup.
The Flying Eagles will play in the world cup proper come next year if only the team progresses to semi final of the AFCON .
