Nigeria’s Flying Eagles and Elkanemi Warriors midfielder, Sulaiman Alabi Jojo, was the center of attention on Monday at the Rashidi Yekini Main Bowl of the Major General Agbasika Innih Stadium in Ilorin.
His return to his home state coincided with the NPFL matchday 22 clash between Kwara United and Elkanemi Warriors.

Despite his team’s 2-0 defeat, Alabi made a strong impression after being introduced in the second half. The young midfielder completed 13 out of 15 passes, achieving an impressive 86% accuracy.
Alabi, a key figure in Nigeria’s Flying Eagles squad that won the WAFU-B championship in October 2024 under Coach Aliyu Zubairu, has also played a significant role in Elkanemi Warriors’ success.
His contributions helped the team secure promotion to the NPFL from the Nigeria National League (NNL) and claim the President Federation Cup (FA Cup) in Lagos last year.
At the final whistle, fans, relatives, and supporters flooded the pitch to celebrate him, chanting his name in recognition of his rising profile and achievements.
