Flying Eagles player Chikezie Nwaorisa is set to dump Latvian side Spartaks Jurmala to join Italian club Sampdoria according to reports from Italy.
Nwaorisa is expected to make Paul Aigbogun’s U20 squad for the World Youth Championship in Poland, the 18 year old only recently joined the Latvian side and is already leaving to join an Italian side to further move up his career.
According to Italian sports online platform Calciomercato.It, Nwaorisa will cost Sampdoria around €1.5m.
Sampdoria reportedly fend off competition from Dinamo Zagreb, Villarreal and Tottenham Hotspur to clinch the midfielder.
