Algerian soccer fans are in for another shock from Nigeria’s cadet female national team, as the Flamingos have promised to defeat the North Africans on their home soil in the second leg of the final qualification fixture for this year’s FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup, Sports247 reports.

This follows a 4-0 thumping of the Algerians on Saturday, after which two of the Nigerian team’s players, Shakirat Moshood and Philomena Ochanya, said the win at Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Ogun State was just the beginning of a rout that they aim to accomplish.
The result turned out to be a lot more enchanting than had been initially expected by the Flamingos’ fans, but Moshood and Ochanya both boasted that they and their teammates still have more fury to unleash in the second leg.
Moshood declared, “We are happy, and we have determination to win our next match. I know God will help us, and I know we are going to qualify for the World Cup.”
Ochanya added: “Our fans should expect something good from us, because we are fully prepared for the match in Algeria. We know we will win both home and away.”
