Nigeria Women U-17 side, the Flamingoes will play Nigeria Women League side, Naija Ratels FC on Thursday in Abuja as the team continue preparations for the 2020 FIFA Women U-17 World Cup Qualifiers against Guinea.

Stars Ladies and would be looking forward to a great test when they face the Makurdi based side on thursday.
The team led by young tactician Olowookere Bankole are currently in camp at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja preparing for the India 2020 Qualifiers against Guinea later this month.
The Chairman of Naija Ratels FC, Barrister Paul Edeh told newsmen on Wednesday that his team are well prepared for the game against the National Women U-17 Side and will definitely provide a tough test for the Flamingoes.
” We are playing against a side that is preparing for the World Cup Qualifiers and such game is always difficult. I have no doubt that today’s friendly would be a great test for the Flamingoes.
” When we received the invitation from the team, we thought it is a game we have to play. My players are ready and want to exhibit what they have.
“The present coach of the team Olowokere Bankole is doing a great job and am so positive we will get it right this time around. We should get a favourable result in Conakry and Nigeria.
” We urge football fans in Abuja to all come out to support both teams as they file out today against each other in a friendly.” He concluded.
The friendly game between Naija Ratels FC and the Flamingoes will take place today, thursday the 20th of February 2020 at the MKO Abiola Stadium practising pitch by 4pm.
After failing to qualify for the 2018 FIFA Women U-17 World Cup in Uruguay, the Flamingoes have been drawn to play against Guinea in the qualifying series and the first match is expected to take place between the 28th of February and 1st of March 2020.
