The inaugural edition of Abuja U17 Youth League will commence this Saturday (April 3rd), Sports247 reports.
Prizes will be contested in a league format by six clubs from across different regions of the FCT.
According to the FCT FA Chairman, Adam Moukhtar Mohammed, the goal of the tournament is for the development of younger players to prepare them for the professional stage.
The six participating academies include Waco FA, Basic Maracana FC, Abees FA, Horvel Prime FA, Primestars FA, and FCT International.
Each team will play a total of thirty matches, playing the other teams home and away thrice.
Waco FA will host Abees FA in the first game of the tournament at the Abuja Area 3 Mini Stadium on Saturday, March 3rd.
