First Choice Sports Management and Plateau State Football Association is set to begin screening exercise for the U15 and U16 talent discovery tagged *Talent Hunt and Football Development for the U15, U16 in Plateau State*
The screening exercise will cover all the 17 local governments of the state, where they will be group into the 3 senatorial districts ( Plateau South, Plateau North and Plateau Central).
Plateau State FA Chairman Sunday Lungdap described the initiative as the first screening exercise as the first event to be identified with the Plateau FA.
“We are happy to be going into partnership with First Choice Sport Management for this initiative”
“We cannot wait for the event to kick off, but we must put everything in place before the event start”
“One of the main things we need wait for is for the unfortunate to die down and the raining season to end”
“We have seen several kinds of initiative, but this event will be the best and we are going infuse a very strict measure”, he concluded.
Also speaking at the event, First Choice Sports Management, director of Protocol Mr Adeyemi Adesogan hinted that the event will be a yearly event ” the main purpose of the event is to discover raw talent at the U15 and U16″
During the final selection, FIFA licence agents will be on ground officials to access and select players during screening from each senatorial district.
