The Nigeria National League has adjusted the time of the final game of the group winners of the Super Eight playoff to now be played earlier than scheduled for logistics reasons.
The match fixed previously for 3 pm will now be played at 10am in the morning.
Niger Tornadoes Football Club of Minna and Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan (3SC) will slug it out in the final game to determine the Champion of the 2020/2021 season.
Niger Tornadoes emerged winners of the Northern conference after winning one game and drawing two to garner five points having scored more goals in all three games than runners up Gombe United who also have the same five points.
In the Southern Conference, 3SC won two games and had a one-all draw against Remo Stars, to amass seven points and nine goals to emerge winners.
In another development, the final Southern Conference game between Remo Stars and Bendel Insurance football clubs that failed to hold Saturday due to misgivings will precede the final between Niger Tornadoes and 3SC. The tie has been rescheduled to hold at 8 am.
All matches will hold at the Cathedral, the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.
The Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Sunday Dare who came into the coal City Saturday morning is still on the ground and will sign off the NNL Super season-ending tournament.
Mr. Dare was at the stadium to watch the last group game of the Northern conference between DMD and El-Kanemi Warriors, both of Borno State.
El-kanemi won the game by three goals to nothing to finish on four points behind Niger Tornadoes and Gombe United.
So far, Niger Tornadoes, Gombe United, and 3SC have all picked promotion tickets to the Nigeria top-flight league, the Nigeria professional football league (NPFL).
The last ticket pick will be known after the final group game in the Southern conference involving Remo Stars and Bendel Insurance Sunday morning.
