Nigeria-born England defender Fikayo Tomori has won Derby County’s player of the season award after a string of impressive performances for the Rams this season.
The central defender has spent the season on loan at Frank Lampard’s side and has helped the Rams into a playoff spot as it stands.
Derby are only three games away from securing themselves a spot in the playoffs as they attempt to return to the Premier League after eleven years away.
Tomori has impressed many of the Derby County fans, and has been rewarded for his performances by being awarded the player of the season award.
The defender beat off fellow Chelsea loanee Mason Mount, Liverpool loanee Harry Wilson and other Derby stars to pick up the award.
Tomori has kept 13 clean sheets in his 49 appearances across all competitions for the Rams this season, and has been a vital cog in their back line in the Championship.
