The Flying Eagles of Nigeria defeated Argentina 2-0 on Wednesday at the San Juan Stadium, to secure a spot in the quarter-finals of the FIFA U20 World Cup.

The Flying Eagles are through to the quarterfinals of the 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup following a hard-earned victory over hosts, Argentina.
Two goals from Ibrahim Beji Muhammad & Haliru Sarki Lawal scored the goals for Nigeria.
Beji was one of the stars of the evening after he scored the opener before Sarki came off the bench to seal the deal with the decisive second goal in added time to inspire the Flying Eagles to a beautiful win.
Flying Eagles will face the winner of the Ecuador versus South Korea match in the quarter-finals.
