Oasis Ladies midfielder, Aduramomi Temitayo has cried out that she wants to feature for U-17 women national team ahead of FIFA U-17 women’s world cup slated for October in India.
Temitayo in a chat with Sports247 in Lagos said she is in good form now and ready for invitation from flamingo chief coach,Bankole Olowookere ahead of world cup.
“I am using this medium to beg flamingo coach, Olowookere Bankole to give me chance and extent invitation to me.I am a player who can hold the midfield very well.Aside that, I am a team player and I can quickly adapt to Olowookere pattern of game,”said Temitayo who is 15 years old.
Temitayo explained further that her game has been improved since she joined Oasis Ladies of Lagossaying that playing for her fatherland would be her dream come true.
“I must say that I improve everyday and I am preparing myself for a bigger challenges.If I have the opportunity to play in Flamingo,I will shake the team. All I am asking from Coach Olowookere is to give me chance in the team,”she added.
Commenting on Nigerian women football league, Temitayo said Nigerian women football has come of age and urged the Nigeria Football Federation NFF women department to work more in area of sponsorship and live television broadcast in order to attract foreign players.
