Former coach of the Nigeria handball national team Fidelis Obi has stated that the current handball league will benefit national team players with various national team assignment especially the U19 and U21 who have engagements in Spain and Macedonia.
In a chat with Sports247, Obi said the league going on means the players are in competitive shape ahead of the junior world championship and hence benefit the team at longrun.
“The league will benefit the national team players who are going to be I’m competitive mode going to Spain and Macedonia. And we hope it continues like this.”
