FIBA U19 Women’s World Cup 2025: Nigeria to Learn Group Opponents On February 4

Nigeria’s U-19 women’s basketball team will discover their group-stage opponents for the FIBA U19 Women’s Basketball World Cup 2025 when the official draw takes place on February 4 in Brno, Czechia.

The tournament itself is scheduled to run from July 12 to 20.

The draw will be conducted by Ivana Vecerova and Eva Viteckova, two former Czechia national team stars, and will be streamed live on the official tournament website and YouTube.

The 16 participating teams have been categorized into four pots based on their FIBA World Ranking and overall strength. Nigeria has been placed in Pot 4 alongside Hungary, Argentina, and Brazil.

As the countdown to the draw begins, Nigerian basketball fans eagerly await to see which teams their U-19 squad will face on the world stage.
