Danjuma Babes FC forward Kelly Abodo has revealed his personal target for the 2021 Fusion Football Championship after starring in his side’s 1-0 win over The Charlesann FC on Saturday.
Abodo scored the only goal of the game after only four minutes, taking his tally in the league to two goals. Speaking after the game he said:
“My target is to score 15 goals in this fusion league and I believe in God that in the coming games I will do more.
On his side’s performance, Abodo earlier said: “I feel so happy. It was a very good game. We started the game with oneness and a fighting spirit. We talked to ourselves before kick-off that we are going to win the match and we believed. There is more to come from us as a team.”
The win means Danjuma Babes have seven points from as many games and sit in 14th place on the league pending other results.
