Fehinty FC Management In Cloud Nine As Another Player Joins Spanish Club

The entire camp of Fehinty Football Club, Ido Osun, Osun State was agog on Saturday, May 1, 2021, when the news of the arrival of another player of the club in Spain, Emmanuel Adisa was broken to his colleagues and the coaching crew.

This jubilation was worth it as ‘Emmaball’, as he is fondly called landed in Spain just a week after the club’s Captain, Seun Badejo popularly called ‘Baresi’ jetted out of the country for a professional football contract with the Spanish team

This made it three players to join the Spanish team from Fehinty Football Club within six months, after several years of efforts and trials by the Chairperson of the club, Mrs. Victoria Fehintola.

Expressing gratitude to God for the opportunity, Fehinty FC Team Manager, Niyi Akintibubo and Coach Taofiq Fagbohun said it was a dream come true and a testimony that if slow and steady wins the race, there is always hope in every struggle for success.

“We are grateful to God for this because it was a dream come true. We started the journey almost a decade ago and it was rough and tough particularly with our experience in the NLO 2 where we waited 5 years until we gained promotion this year.

“We were able to weather the storm and continued to persevere and we thank God that our time, money, energy, and efforts are not wasted. We appreciate everyone and we shall continue to follow our mandate at nurturing talented, young footballers to stardom,” submitted Messrs Akintibubo and Fagbohun.

It would be recalled that Chairperson of the club, Mrs. Victoria Fehintola had assured that she would continue to identify budding talents from the nooks and crannies of Osun State and beyond to make great them great footballers in the world.

The trio of Seun Badejo ‘Baresi’, Sodiq Agbaje ‘Ronaldo’ and Emmanuel Adisa ‘Emmaball’ have thus teamed up with the Spanish Side, CD Numancia that plays in Segunda DivisiĆ³n B in Spain.
