The Nation’s Capital Football Governing body on Monday received with rude shock the news of the death of former FCT FA Chairman, Mr. Ben Agarry.
Chairman, Federal Capital Territory Football Association, FCT FA, Mouktar Mohammed condoled with Nigerians at home and in the Diaspora over the death of decease who died after a brief illness.
In a condolence message by the Association’s media manager, Special Mr. Niyi Busari, in Abuja on Monday, Mouktar sympathized with the family and friends of the deceased.
The president said, “he was passionate about the development of football and deeply committed to a Nigeria football that will attain her position in the comity of nations.
”It’s sad to lose such a hopeful, ebullient soul so soon.”
Ben Agarry was the Chairman, FCT FA between 2005 and 2006 pioneering the affair of football in the nation’s capital.
The deceased was a successful football administrator and Match Commissioner.
