The Football Coaches Association of Africa Nations (FCAAN) have confirmed that their forthcoming coaching course in Nigeria billed for November has received a major boost with the confirmation of the participation of top US Soccer and English FA coaches coming to serve as instructors.
Breaking the news all the way from the FCAAN headquarters in Pittsburgh Pensylvania, USA through a telephone call, the founder of FCAAN, Dr Babatunde Terry Eguaoje gleefully announced that the Coaching Course which is for the award of D Diploma in Football Coaching will have in attendance 2 FCAAN instructors, Colin Barnes from the US Soccer and Kyle Quigley from the English FA to compliment the efforts of Dr Babatunde Terry Eguaoje the founder and presIdent of FCAAN who holds a lenghty list of Coaching Licenses and Diplomas from Europe and America as well as former Sunshine Stars of Akure Technical Director, Coach Henry Abiodun, the FCAAN Director in Nigeria.
Colin Barnes played collegiately and as a professional before coaching youth players in the College and at top Clubs in the USA while earning degrees in Masters of Teaching and future doctorate in Sport Pedagogy. Colin Barnes has been developing and training Coaches since 2002 and he has been working with US Soccer in the last 2 years.
Barnsley FC U-19 Coach, Kyle Quigley, born in Northern Ireland and a former youth internatinal who Joined Bradford city at 13; is another top English FA Coaching mentor who is also expected in Nigeria as an instructor at the FCAAN Coaching Clinic in November.
An UEFA A licence holder and an English FA youth module qualified instructor as well as FCAAN A Diploma holder who has Coached and Managed teams against Premiership and Championship teams, Kyle Quigley was in Nigeria as an instructor of FCAAN in June 2019 at the E and D Coaching Clinic held at Lead City University in Ibadan.
The fully residential D Diploma Coaching Course comes up at Benson Idahosa University, Benin-City between November 11-15
