The Football Coaches Association of African Nations (FCAAN) has congratulated two of its members, Fidelis Ilechukwu and Ekene Ikedilichukwu, Enugu Rangers’ Head Coach and Team Scout, for the Flying Antelopes’ win in the 2023/2024 NPFL season.

Dr Terry Eguaoje, President of FCAAN, congratulated the duo and stated that the 2023/2024 NPFL season was highly competitive and demanding.
He praised Rangers’ perseverance, which saw them emerge as victors of the N150 million price-tagged competition.
Eguaoje stated that Ilechukwu has been constant as the as top coach in the Nigerian league and was not shocked that he guided Rangers to an exceptional season, winning the championship and earning a ticket to represent Nigeria in the lucrative CAF Champions League next season.
According to Eguaoje, the entire FCAAN family congratulated Rangers and pushed the team to strengthen its weak areas and bolster the squad with quality players in order to provide Nigeria with a strong showing in the esteemed Champions League.
The Rangers won their second game in thirty years after finishing first in the 2023–2024 NPFL season with a total of 70 points.
