FC One Rocket yesterday was held to a 1-1 draw at its home game in the Nest of Champions Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom.
FC One Rocket have their place in Thursday’s draw for the Nigeria National League (NNL). One Rocket’s previous away draw with Ibom Youth FC at the Ikot Ekpene Stadium meant that the game against Goddosky FC was more or less a box-ticking exercise. The 1-1 draw which it produced was unforeseen.
It was not an entirely uneventful evening. FC One Rocket striker Imamu could have made things much more interesting and easier for his team but missed several opportunities, while the opponent team displayed quite an unprofessional behavior using delay tactics to while-away time.
Goddosky netted the first goal in the first half then later was equalized by FC One Rocket in second half by Imamu.
Charles Etim was sighted playing from Left-Back in the first half before changes were made in second half where he then played Right back.
FC One Rocket is scheduled to play Bayelsa United on Sunday.
