FC Agbai punched the first semi-finals with an emphatic 4-1 victory over FC Ipaye in the first quarter-finals match played this morning at the Legacy pitch, Surulere, Lagos.

Like a house on fire, free scoring FC Agbai raced into the lead in the 12th minute through Onojah Godwin. And on resumption of the second half, FC Ipaye took the game by the scruff of the neck and pressurised FC Agbai’s centre back Emmanuel into conceeding an own goal.
Unfazed by that blip, Onojah Godwin got his brace when he puts Fac Agbai ahead from the penalty spot.
It turned to become the show of ThankGod Essien who got a quick fire brace in the 71st and 79th minutes to make 4-1 and thus taking the winds off the sails of their opponents.
