Fans of Shooting Stars Football Club of Ibadan were shocked this evening after Remo Stars humbled Oluyole boys 3- 0 in week six of the Nigeria Premier Football NPFL.
Before the center referee signalled for full time, fans of Shooting Stars left the stadium with annoyance saying that their team played worse match against home team.
Some of the Shooting Stars fans told our correspondent that their team did not play and were shocked with the poor performance of Shooting Stars against Remo Stars.
“This is worse game from our team.We came here at least to pick a point unfortunately we were thoroughly beaten and we would revenge when they come to Ibadan for return leg,”said the cross section.of Shooting Stars fans.
Meanwhile Ahmed Akinyele scored through header in the 24th minutes to give Remo Stars early lead.
The homers continued to dominate the encounter as penalty awarded to Remo Stars and quickly converted by Alimi Sikiru in the 39th minutes.
The visiting made some changes in the second half but the changes did not make any meaningful impact as homers controlled the game.Sikiru scored at the close range to make it third goal in the 63th minutes to condemn their opponents to total defeat.
