My attention has been drawn to an online publication contained in the press release by the media officer of Bayelsa United Mr Hanannel Jackson publicly accusing me of beating and molesting a match official on matchday 5 of the abridged Nigeria Premier Football League at the Samson Siasia Stadium Yenagoa.
The said Hananeel Jackson has been feeding the public with unscrupulous lies as the allegations are unfounded and misleading in his claim that I was apprehended by the police. An act that was deemed unprofessional and detestable surprisingly coming from the ranks of an unselfish fellow who portrays himself as the media officer of my beloved State’s team Bayelsa United.
Recall that during the 2021 NNL super 8 at the famous Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium Enugu, I single-handedly intervened during a chaotic invasion by hoodlums to beat up match officials in the game involving Bendel Insurance and Remo Stars. an ill-tempered game it was.
I’m a renowned advocate for peace and tranquility across different match centres in the NPFL, so it’s quite baffling how I could have possibly changed my identity, not to talk of doing so in my own state.
