The Chairperson of the Nigeria Women Football League, Aisha Falode, has sent a congratulatory message to the president of Nigeria Women Football League club, Naija Ratels FC, Barrister Paul Edeh, on the award by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal as an Ambassador.
Falode, noted that the annual event on the calendar of the United Nations set aside for International Day of Peace observed around the world on September 21, for strengthening the ideals of peace, and observing 24 hours of non-violence and cease fire, was a well deserved award for Barrister Ede who is a known Nigerian personalty for his special way of impacting positively and promotion of peace and Harmony in the country.
Edeh, has maintained his status as a life changer. And when he strongly embraced the duty of a complete Humanitarian and philanthropist, he never knew the United Nations was watching him and taking note of his activities. And today, he is an Ambassador of Peace in the world.
This is a great achievement and we in the Nigeria Women Football League are proud of him as one of our club owners who within a very short period setting up a women’s football club, has showed great class in his Humanitarian gestures to the club players and officials.
We wish him luck in his life endeavors and also pray that he gets more recognition across the world.
“We the management Committee of the NWFL join our hands together with Nigerian women footballers, coaches and proprietors across the country to say a very big congratulations to this worthy Nigerian who has distinguished himself as a philanthropic and selfless personalty,” Falode said.
