In preparation for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup final qualifying fixture against Burundi, Falconets Head Coach Chris Musa Danjuma has unveiled a 19-player squad.
The selected players include notable figures such as Captain Oluchi Ohaegbulem, goalkeeper Faith Omilana, defender Shukurat Oladipo, and midfielder Taiwo Afolabi.

These Falconets are set to face Burundi’s U20 girls in the first leg of the crucial encounter, scheduled to take place in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Among the selected goalkeepers is Shukura Bakare, who played a vital role in the team’s victory against Tanzania in the previous round.
The squad also comprises defenders Jumoke Alani and Oluwabunmi Oladeji, midfielders Adoo Yina and Chima Olise, and forwards like Chiamaka Okwuchukwu, Janet Akekoromowei, and Opeyemi Ajakaye.
The Falconets, having reached the quarter-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, will travel out of Nigeria on Tuesday for the first-leg encounter against Burundi.
The match is scheduled to take place at the Azam Stadium Complex in Dar es Salaam.
South African official Nonjabulo Nonhle Ndlela will serve as the referee, supported by assistant referees Maneo Evodia Tau and Nandipha Menze.
The return leg match is slated for the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, on Saturday, January 20th.
