Founder of 36 Lion Football Club, Liameed Gafar has warned his players to approach their game against FC Bethel in the round of 32 Winners Golden Bet Lagos State Challenge Cup like a cup final.
The pulsating encounter between 36 Lion and FC Bethel would hold on Saturday at Epe centre.
Gafar in a chat with our correspondent said their opponents, FC Bethel are not a pushover noted that FA Cup is full of surprises. He admitted that their match against FC Bethel would be tough but remained optimistic that his boys would triumph.
“ We are not going to underrate our opponents because I have watched them before, and we have played them before they are a good side. Let me say this, we are going to approach FC Bethel match like a cup final because there is no minor club in FA Cup,” he said.
The football administrator urged his coaching crew and players not to play to the gallery saying that anything short of victory would be a serious setback for the club. He however admonished his players to remain focused and ensure that they come out victorious against their opponents
