Former Super Egales players, Mutiu Adepoju and Dele Adeleye would be among the invited instructors that would give talk at the forthcoming MADESTONE Football Academy summer camp scheduled to commence from August 1 through 12 at the Lead British Secondary School pitch, Maja Street, Jericho, Ibadan, Oyo State.
This was disclosed by the head coach of MADESTONE Academy, Olubiyi Oluwatobiloba while chatting with sports247.ng in Lagos. He said the ex Super Eagles have accepted academy invitation and promised to be on ground during the summer camp.He confirmed that boys and girls’ within the age of 4 to 16 are eligible to participate in the summer camp.
“The two former Eagles players would address the participants on their football career during the summer camp. We have many instructors but Adepoju and Adeleye presence would motivate the participants to show more commitment in their footballing career. Many of them would like to ask questions that would help them in their both educational and football careers,” he said.
Oluwatobiloba who doubles as the Chairman of MADESTONE Academy explained that the summer camp is an opportunity for the young footballers who want to know more about the rudiment of the game.
He also revealed that the summer camp would develop the skills of the young lads under the right coaches in the right environment.
“We want are planning seriously to organizer a summer camp for our children that would be on holiday as from this week.Our registration fees is N35,000 per child and we have informed interested academies, individuals, and schools to come and register their wards for the summer camp and I am happy with the responses we got from them. So far so good, we have received messages and calls from various interested candidates who are willing to participate in the programme,” he said.
Oluwatobilola noted that certificate of participation and medals would be awarded to every child after the summer camp.
“Of course we are giving certificate of participation to the participants and we have contacted UEFA C licensed coach from English FA that would teach the participants both theory and practical aspect of football during the summer camp,”he concluded.
