Super Eagles and Stoke city Midfield Trojan, Oghenekaro Etebo on Saturday scored his first-ever goal for Stoke City in the English Championship with manager Nathan Jones lavishing praise on the team for showing quality.
At the dot of 15th minutes,Etebo fired home from distance to give Stoke City the lead at home against promotion chasers Nottingham Forest.

“I am really pleased with the performance, I am pleased with how we nullified a dangerous side and I am pleased to have scored the two goals we did – I think we showed the quality we have here,” a delighted Jones remarked.
“That is really pleasing because we have demanded that from them this week and we have put a lot of work in on the training pitches trying to make sure we are better on the front foot.
“We scored two goals with really swift play, we kept the ball well and at times I thought we played some really good stuff.”
Stoke City are 16th on the table with 44 points from 35 matches and would be looking forward to improve on the previous to retaining Championship status
