Sequel to the relegation of Watford FC, the club has confirmed the release of five first-team players and this includes Super Eagles midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo.
Karo Etebo will now return to parent club, Stoke City as his loan deal is brought to an end.
Other players in the list of Watford FC are teammates and goal keeper Ben Foster as he also has been released at the end of his contact, Nikolas Nkoulou, Andrea Gray who spent last season on loan to QPR were also released since their contracts have expired as well.
Juraj Kucka, on relegation of the club, activated his release clause after one season stay.
Watford’s message of gratitude on thier social media handles thanked thanked the Super Eagles player and his departed teammates for their contributions to the club thus far.
“We thank the departing players for their contributions and wish them the best of luck for the next steps in their careers.” They wrote.
