Ese Brume makes a comeback with a win at the Orlen’s Cup in Poland with a remarkable Season’s Best jump.

Nigerian athlete and Commonwealth champion Ese Brume won the women’s long jump at the Orlen Janusz Kusocinki Memorial in Poland, with her best performance so far this season.

Brume jumped a Season Best of 6. 1m on her final attempt, beating Quanesha Burks and Agate De Sousa who came second with 6.77m and third with 6.76m respectively.

Brume’s series of jumps showed her progress throughout the competition.

She had finished fourth in the Florence Diamond League with 6. 4m, but her victory in Poland has boosted her confidence as she aims to hit the 7. 0m mark and win a medal at the World Championships in Budapest.
